I am thankful for the little things that saved my life.

I feel blessed every day... that on 9/11 a number of little things saved my life.

1)I wore flats instead of the high heels I wore every day. It allowed me to run when the building collapsed.

2)My favorite client, Manuel Gomez Jr. Vice President of Fuji Bank canceled our regular meeting in Tower 2 on the 80th floor. He died in his office at the time I would have been with him. (God bless you Manny )

3)It was Theo’s first day at school and I was stopped by a mother I hadn’t seen all summer so we talked and I left the school 15 minutes later than I should have which means I didn’t have time to go into World trade to get my usual Morning coffee and Krispy Crème Donut. (thank you, Liz you saved my life)

4) And when I was running when the first Tower collapsed I choose to run in the right direction and was able to move fast enough to escape the falling debris that killed or hurt so many others. (I give thanks to that small still voice that is my Guide!)

I am Thankful and blessed everyday!
